Brandon Sawalich

Named President of Starkey in 2017 and Chief Executive Officer in 2020, Brandon Sawalich leads a global team of more than 5,000 employees, with facilities in over 29 countries. He drives the strategic direction of Starkey and works closely with the Executive Team and other leaders throughout the organization to support the company's mission and values.

As President and CEO, Brandon Sawalich is focused on forward-thinking leadership and is committed to continuous innovation of the science, design, and production of hearing aids, while providing consumers the best sound quality and advanced technology available.

Under Brandon's leadership, Starkey has continuously maintained its reputation for having the most ground-breaking products with the best sound quality on the market. By incorporating integrated sensors, artificial intelligence, and health and wellness technology into our hearing health products, Brandon's vision of hearing aids becoming high-tech, multi-function health devices has led Starkey to be a leader in innovation, and he continues to seek out opportunities to bring cutting-edge products and solutions to market.

Brandon Sawalich an over 30-year veteran of the hearing industry, began his career at Starkey in 1994. Over three decades, Brandon devoted himself to learning every aspect of the business and led teams in many areas of the company, specifically helping to grow and shape the company's marketing, customer service, and sales organizations. Through his broad professional experience, Brandon has developed a deep understanding of the company's products and the customers' needs. Prior to his tenure as President, Brandon served as Senior Vice President of Starkey from 2005 - 2017.

Early in his career, Brandon came to understand that personalized customer service, customized fitting, professional evaluation, and state-of-the-art technology must all come together seamlessly to properly serve each unique patient. These initiatives led Brandon to be named 'Executive of the Year' in the 2023 Excellence in Customer Service Awards and receive the 'Artificial Intelligence Excellence Award' in 2025, both presented by the Business Intelligence Group as well as 'Best MedTech Company CEO' for the 2025 MedTech Breakthrough Awards.

Brandon, Starkey, and its industry-leading innovation have continuously received national media attention including features in Entrepreneur, Forbes, Inc., Yahoo Finance, Fortune and others. Brandon also enjoys connecting with new audiences as a popular podcast guest in areas of technology, leadership, business and the important role hearing health plays in overall wellness.

From 2017-2021, Brandon Sawalich served as Chairman of the Board for Hearing Industries Association, an 18-member industry group that works with government leaders to support efforts to increase the accessibility and affordability of hearing aids, especially given the overall importance of hearing health. After serving as treasurer and then vice-chair from 2021 to 2024, he was re-elected to a two-year term as Chairman in 2025. Previous board positions include the George W. Bush Institute Executive Advisory Council, Medical Alley, and Special Olympics Minnesota.

Brandon resides in Minnesota with his wife, Jessica, and in their spare time they enjoy traveling and providing support to their four grown children, Amelia, Jackson, Christian, and William as they pursue their passions, careers and education goals. On weekends they aren't cheering William on in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, you can often find Brandon's loyalty being tested as a lifelong fan of both the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears.
